3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the textile’s history, composition, and any known treatments. Clients must ensure that textiles delivered for service are free from any hazardous materials or infestations. Fibrous Finish will not be held responsible for damages arising from undisclosed issues.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in the individual service agreement or quotation. A deposit may be required before commencing work, with the full balance due upon completion and before the textile is returned. All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise specified.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your textile items. For bespoke textile art commissions, Fibrous Finish retains intellectual property rights over the original design created, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients are granted a license for personal use of commissioned art, but commercial reproduction requires separate agreement.

6. Limitation of Liability

Fibrous Finish meticulously performs all services with the utmost care and expertise. However, given the delicate nature of textiles, particularly vintage or damaged items, we cannot guarantee the complete elimination of all flaws or the exact outcome desired, especially in restoration projects. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions that may become apparent during treatment or for minor alterations inherent to the conservation process. Our liability for any damage caused by negligence or error during our service will be limited to the cost of the service provided.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

Fibrous Finish reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our online platform, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
